so is cooking art?

I know that it is a creative outlet and it makes me feel really good to create food that my family enjoy eating. My family unit started out as most do with just the two of us – not the usual two …. but me and my daughter. Meal times were so much easier way back then….. feeding two people is straightforward. The complications increase as each new family member arrives, and again as each one reaches a new life stage. These likes and dislikes can change on a whim so feeding a family is an ever changing challenge. I think that in my case that these factors are too many and that they will always prevent my food from being declared art…….. I guess its a job best left to top chefs and food artists. I am happy to hear “tank you mummy this is yummy” over “wow doesn’t that look stunning” any day!
